Why replace your shower hose?
- Old hoses kink, restricting flow
- Worn washers cause drips at the connections
- Cracked plastic hoses can split under pressure
- A fresh chrome finish instantly improves the shower
How to install
- Unscrew the old hose from the wall outlet or diverter and from the handheld showerhead.
- Check that each end of the new hose has a washer in place.
- Screw the hose on by hand. The cone end usually connects to the handset.
- Turn on the water and check for drips; snug the nuts slightly if needed.
Tips
- Hand-tight is usually enough. Over-tightening can damage washers.
- Hang the handset so the hose isn't left bent sharply.
